An arts-based non-profit organization seeks an assistant teacher and an aide for a new early learning center in Dillon. The assistant teacher will work 15-20 hours per week and the aide will work 5-10 hours per week in an arts-centered, full-day childcare program. Willing to work with a student schedules for the right applicants. Pay begins at $10 for the assistant and $8.15 for the aide.
Assistant, Required:
Associate Degree in Education OR two years’ experience in a childcare center or preschool
CPR and first aid certified
Understanding of Montana Early Learning Standards and developmentally appropriate practices
Aide, Required:
High school diploma or GED
CPR and first aid certified
Preferred:
Experience planning play-based curriculum
Experience managing groups of children
Experience working with 2-6 year olds
Experience toilet training young children
Familiarity with childcare center licensing and regulations
Bachelor’s degree in Education
Must complete a background check upon hire.
